The presentation of the LIPS - partnership

The project consortium involves a research institute, universities, enterprises and transfer partners such as the umbrella association JEUNE from all regions of Europe (Northern, Southern, Western, Middle- and Eastern Europe) to ensure the linguistic and culturally diversity required by our project approach - see also the diagram the geographical partnermap.

The enterprises, which are direct members of the consortium have already worked together with other members of the consortium, mainly in the area of Leonardo Student Mobility and have agreed to contribute their experiences to the project work. However this is a core team of enterprises, which will continually be expanded using existing networks.

Most of the universities and the research institute have already worked together either in the framework of Socrates/Erasmus and Leonardo student mobility or in the framework of E-learning projects (e.g. the CONNECT-project TEECH-in - Transactive Exploration of European Cultural Heritage in intercultural teams).

The academic team contains a mix of expertise in the area of language and intercultural education, curriculum development, E-learning, administration of student mobility and knowledge transfer between universities and enterprises. The project is especially a result of the experiences and needs identified by project partners in the area of student mobility and university/enterprise cooperation.

The transfer partners have been chosen strategically, because of their potential for the valorisation of project results and as they provide the best links to enterprises.
