Achill Island Arts and Cultural Links Alliance (AIACLA) is based on Achill Island at The Western Light Art Gallery, The Sandybanks, Keel, Achill Island, Co. Mayo. Ireland. It is a voluntary organisation dedicated to facilitating projects which are beneficial to the community. The organisation is registered with the Revenue commissioner and has been approved as a charitable organisation. The organisation is administered by three co-ordinators.
The organisation has been working with community projects for a period of five years now. The group has been involved with community groups and has been the driving force in the development of the first web site for the Island. We have also facilitated many European Projects.
