A coordinators meeting was held at Achill Island / Ireland February 2005

In the European Action Stage week at Achill Island also a
coordinators meeting took place.

Key Results of the meeting:

- Partners agreed to keep in touch with contact persons on Achill.
Vera will sent an email to everybody. The virtual community platform
can be used as a tool.

- To keep in touch an alumni meeting (of former participants of
international project weeks on Achill) shall be planned on Achill
together with partners from the Island.

- The framework of the Alumni meeting on Achill could be a European
project week on a school or schools on Achill (together with pupils,
but also parents, friends etc.).

- This “mini-project week” could be combined with the final dissemination meeting of media-net-works. This is originally planned for Umea from Sept. 1 st to 5 th but could be moved to Achill Island in the same time (this should be the first week of school after summer holidays on Achill).

- The preparation of the project week could turn into a classroom related activity at media-net-works partner institutions. As the budget is limited there would be about 2 student participants from partner institutions + coordinators. For alumni some symbolic travel grants could be offered to make the meeting more attractive and more affordable for former participants.

- The virtual community platform will be used a preparatory tool for the organisation of the week and its programme together with contact persons on Achill Island.
